I’m forever digging for these documents when we setup new clients – just putting these up for future reference – and anyone ELSE that might want or ever need setup for Rackspace or Google Apps!

We usually use Rackspace so our directions here are for setting up on any domain that we have setup in our Rackspace Cloud servers – and of course, Gmail/Google Apps.
