This really is just a link to a Word Document that has all the info from our friends over at Google to assist in setting up pretty much ANYTHING to handle either Google Email or Google Apps email (your domain hosted on Google / GMail.
The quick and dirty things to know:
Incoming email server: pop.gmail.com
Outgoing email server: smtp.gmail.com
Outgoing server requires authentication – use same settings as incoming
Server Ports
Standard (Non-secure)
Incoming – port 110
Outgoing – port 25
Secure
Incoming – Port 995 Requires SSL
Outgoing – Port 465 With SSL
Outgoing – port 587 with TLS
